Submission Preparation Checklist

Before submitting, the author confirms that the submission meets the following requirements:

• The work is original, has not been published before, and is not under consideration by another journal.
• The manuscript is written in English on the SUSJ Manuscript Template v4 in Word format and contains no information that identifies the authors. The 2026 journal template (version 3.1) is accepted until 30 November 2026.
• With the v4 template: the Title Page is uploaded, with every author's affiliation, institutional email and ORCID iD where available, CRediT contributions and all declarations.
• The ORCID iD of the corresponding author has been entered in the submission form, and all authors' details are complete: name in both languages, email and affiliation.
• The title, abstract (no more than 250 words) and 4–6 keywords are provided in both English and Arabic.
• References follow APA 7th edition in one alphabetical list, with a DOI for every source that has one.
• The manuscript includes a conflict of interest statement, a data availability statement and ethical approval where required.
• The publication application form and the author's declaration form are uploaded.
• All authors have seen and approved the submitted version, and the submission follows the Author Guidelines.
