Copyright Policy

The copyright of all articles published in Sirte University Scientific Journal is held by Sirte University, the journal's publisher.

Transfer of copyright

Upon acceptance, the author signs the author's publishing agreement, under which the copyright is transferred from the author to Sirte University. The author confirms that the work is original, has not been published before and is not under consideration elsewhere.

Licence

Published articles are freely available to readers under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) licence, which permits reading, downloading, copying, distributing and reusing them, provided that the authors and the journal are credited as the original source with full citation details.

Authors' rights after publication

  • To be credited at all times as the author of the article.
  • To archive the published version on a personal website, an institutional repository or a subject repository, in line with the Self-Archiving Policy.
  • To use the article in teaching and in later work, citing its original publication in the journal.

Authors may not republish an accepted or published article in another journal or conference as a new work. Plagiarism is handled under the Plagiarism and Retraction Policy.
