Appeals, Complaints and Corrections
The journal handles appeals and complaints fairly and promptly, following the flowcharts of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
Appealing an editorial decision
- Submission The author submits a written appeal through the platform or the journal email within 30 days of the decision, giving scholarly reasons and responding to the reviewers' comments.
- Consideration The appeal is considered by an editorial board member who was not involved in the original decision, and the manuscript may be sent to an additional reviewer.
- Outcome The author is informed of the outcome within 30 days, and the decision after appeal is final.
Complaints
Complaints about editorial or review processes or publication ethics are received at the journal email jo.f.ed@su.edu.ly and answered within 30 days. Every complaint is treated confidentially, and no action is taken before hearing the party concerned. A complaint about the Editor-in-Chief is considered by the editorial board without the Editor-in-Chief's participation.
