On behalf of the editorial board of the International Journal of Engineering Research at Sirte University IJER, I am pleased and honored to begin this welcoming address to you, our esteemed readers and researchers.

The establishment of the International Journal of Engineering Research, issued by Sirte University, represents a confident step towards strengthening the scientific and knowledge-based research movement in our region, and contributing to enriching academic discussions in various branches of knowledge. Based on our firm belief in the importance of science and its pivotal role in the progress and prosperity of societies, we seek, through this platform, to provide a wide space for publishing your original and well-researched studies and research, which address issues of importance in engineering sciences.

In the editorial board, we have been keen to establish accurate and high-quality scientific standards to ensure the integrity of the published research, through a rigorous and transparent arbitration system that relies on a selection of specialized professors and experts. Our goal is not only to disseminate knowledge but also to contribute to its development and expand its horizons, and to encourage researchers to provide qualitative additions that serve our societies and contribute to finding solutions to the challenges they face.
