Abstract

This paper aimed to study the role of distance education in utilizing modern technologies to teach the Arabic language to children of Arab communities living abroad and its impact on enhancing linguistic skills. The study addressed how Arabic language skills can be reinforced through distance education, serving as a modern tool that meets the needs of Arab immigrant families by ensuring their connection to their culture, language, and religion, and emphasizing their role in preserving their Arab identity. The study also focused on the interactive methods in distance education and the use of modern technologies and multimedia to adapt linguistic rules. The researcher adopted the descriptive approach, as it is one of the most commonly used methods in studying social and human phenomena.
