Speech of the Editorial Board Chairman

Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and peace and prayer be upon the seal of the prophets and messengers, our faithful Muhammad al-Hadi, and upon his family, companions, and those who followed him with charity until the day of judgment.

A research journal is a peer-reviewed scientific journal published by the Faculty of Arts at the University of Sirte- The Faculty of Arts at the University of Sirte was the first faculty to establish its own refereed scientific journal, where the first issue was published in 1997, and the research journal was the First Journal of the University of Sirte to obtain the arcef impact coefficient in 2017, and it was also a pioneer in obtaining the Arab impact coefficient in 2019, therefore, obtaining the highest Arab impact coefficient at the level of the University of Sirte for three consecutive years was not by chance, but was the result of the concerted efforts of the families of the previous and current editorial boards, which maintained the continuity of in its timeliness and in its development, and the cooperation of our fellow faculty members in Libyan and Arab universities who kindly evaluated Research and evaluation, they have a lot of thanks and appreciation from us.

One of the goals of the editorial board of the Journal, which is currently working on, is to obtain local and international rankings and access international databases, so this year the editorial board of the Journal and its advisory board were joined by a group of leading experts and academics in various fields of Humanities from Libyan universities, Arab universities (Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Algeria), European and American universities (Britain, France, Italy, USA). We are sure that their contributions will be valuable and will bring even more excellence to the content and content of the magazine.

The number of published researches until the current issue (the seventeenth volume, the second issue, September 2025) has reached about 371 scientific researches in various journals of the Humanities.The Journal has received research from about ten Arab and African countries. with this sober knowledge production, the journal carries a vision through which it seeks to create a knowledge society through the University Institution, and its message is that knowledge production guarantees the supremacy of society and assumes an advanced global position.

We ask our dear readers to ask us for an excuse for any unintentional lapses or mistakes, perfection is for God alone, and we are pleased to receive your opinions and suggestions via the magazine's e-mail about the issues of the magazine; in order to contribute to the improvement and development of the magazine in form and content.
