الملخص

تستكشف هذه الدراسة العلاقة بين مستوى الصحة العامة (متوسط العمر المتوقع عند الولادة) -كمتغير وسيط- وتأثير العوامل البيئية التي تشمل: (نصيب الفرد من الموارد المائية العذبة، انبعاثات غاز الميثان، القيمة المضافة في قطاع الزراعة، ونصيب الفرد من انبعاثات ثاني أكسيد الكربون) على معدلات البطالة في المملكة العربية السعودية. حيث تفترض الدراسة أن كلاً نصيب الفرد من الموارد البيئية والقيمة المضافة في قطاع الزراعة تؤثر بشكل إيجابي على مستوى الصحة العامة، وان انبعاثات غاز الميثان ونصيب الفرد من انبعاثات ثاني أكسيد الكربون تؤثر بشكل سلبي على مستوى الصحة العامة، وأن مستوى الصحة العامة يؤثر بشكل إيجابي على معدلات البطالة، حيث يزيد تحسين الظروف الصحية من الإنتاجية ويساعد في خلق فرص عمل جديدة. كما تؤكد الدراسة أن إدارة الموارد البيئية بشكل فعّال كتحسين جودة المياه وتقليل الانبعاثات الضارة، مما يساهم في زيادة متوسط العمر المتوقع، مما يرتبط بشكل إيجابي في تقليل معدلات البطالة. فتركز هذه الدراسة على أهمية اعتماد سياسات شاملة تجمع بين الجوانب الصحية والبيئية، لتعزيز التنمية المستدامة في المملكة وتحسين جودة الحياة وزيادة فرص العمل بين القطاعات المختلفة
