About

Legal Research Journal (A journal dedicated to legal studies and deepening the legislator’s perspective)

It is a peer-reviewed academic scientific journal issued semi-annually, with the possibility of publishing special issues. It was established by the Faculty of Law at the University of Sirte pursuant to Decision No. (14) of 2004 issued by the Director General of the General Administration of Publications, authorizing its issuance as a peer-reviewed scientific journal. The journal is supervised by an editorial board, supported by an advisory board; both bodies are composed of a distinguished group of professors and specialists in various legal disciplines, in addition to contributors to specialized legal publications in Libya.

Through this, it has become one of the means of knowledge available to researchers and those interested in legal and human rights matters in general, and legal affairs in particular. The journal is free of charge and non-commercial in nature. It does not impose fees for the acceptance, peer review, or publication of legal research and studies. Submissions may be written in either Arabic or English. The journal is also available for download by everyone through its official website.

In the same context, the Legal Research Journal serves as a scientific reference for researchers and specialized academics to present their original, rigorous, and peer-reviewed research.
