Abstract

This study aimed to assess the level of job happiness among secondary education supervisors in light of the developed PERMA model at the Educational Inspection and Guidance Department in Zliten. It also sought to examine differences in job happiness levels based on gender and specialization. The study population consisted of 50 educational supervisors. To achieve the research objectives, the descriptive analytical approach was adopted, and a questionnaire developed by the researcher was used, consisting of 41 items distributed across six dimensions: empathy and positive emotions, work engagement and involvement, trusted relationships, meaning and purpose, achievement and recognition, and personal and professional development. The findings revealed that educational supervisors exhibit a high level of job happiness according to the developed PERMA model. Additionally, statistically significant differences were found in job happiness levels based on gender, with females reporting higher levels of happiness than males. However, no significant differences were observed based on specialization.
