Abstract

The housing crisis is one of the most important issues faced by most of the developing world, especially in light of the large increase in population and household growth. The demand for housing remains urgent, especially if there is a combination of factors such as low supply of housing, decreasing construction land and absence of spatial planning. Which creates a large gap between the existing housing units and what is expected of them in a certain period of time. Faced with these great challenges to meet this need, it was necessary for those interested in this to develop feasible strategies to determine the housing deficit of Ed the necessary processors, so this study seeks to provide the scientific basis for estimating housing need and demand for housing in one of the Libyan cities that has become its credit does not meet the growing need of housing units.
