Abstract
The study aimed to describe the cultural dimension of globalization and its repercussions on some social values of Libyan youth and ways to deal with them to reduce their negative effects; it also aimed to identify whether there is a relationship between the use of communication methods and weak association with indigenous values as well as a tendency to isolation and abuse of western civilization, and a tendency to consume Recreational overload. While the researchers used, through this study, the descriptive analytical approach in dealing with research topics, the study sample reached (100) male and female students and Marg University (College of Arts and Sciences )was the spatial framework in which the field study was conducted using the relative stratified sample and using the questionnaire form and employing inferential statistics by its methods Parametricity by means of the strength, direction, and significance of the relationship, then choosing the Pearson correlation coefficient – the research has found a negative correlation between the culture of globalization, the use of means of communication, and the weak correlation with authentic values, and the presence of a positive correlation between the isolation, and that there is no correlation between the dimensions of globalization and its fascination with Western culture, on the other hand there is a link between the dimensions of globalization and the excess consumption of recreational.
