Abstract

The present study aimed at finding out the relationship between marital compatibility and emotional intelligence in a sample of the staff of Benghazi University from the Faculty of Arts and Sciences in Ajdabia branch in the State of Libya and to find out if there is a difference attributed to the variables of gender, age and monthly income. The sample of the current study consisted of (31) Of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences Branch of Ajdabia in the State of Libya, and the results of the current study showed a statistically significant relationship between marital compatibility and emotional intelligence, and as indicated by the results of the current study to the absence of statistically significant differences at the level of significance (0.05) The type of monthly income and age "on marital adjustment scale.
