Abstract

The focus of the research revolves around the role of European Captivesand African Slave- girls in Tripoli society.

   The research focuses on the treatment of European Captivesand African Slave- girls by the Pashas, men of power and the Upper Class in Western Tripoli Community,not to mention their role in the social structure in general and their participation in daily activities.

 In addition to their role in dancing, singing, and in the art of embroidery besides sewing beautiful European clothes and other professions that Tripoli community did not know during that period.
