Abstract

The research dealt with Tamim’s language in Ibn Sayyidah’s Al-Hakam dictionary (d. 458 AH). It began with an introduction in which he referred to dictionaries in general, then the importance of the research and the reasons for choosing it. It was divided into two chapters. The first has two subjects;– arbitrator). As for the second chapter, it also contained two chapters. The first: what was mentioned in the language of Tamim in al-Mahkam, and other books agreed with it, and the second: what was mentioned in al-Mahkam and not mentioned by other books, then followed by the conclusion and results, a list of sources.
