Benzotriazole <strong>(2) </strong>can be synthesized by diazotization process using o -phenylene diamine with sodium nitrite and acetic acid. The synthesized compounds were isolated and purity was checked by the TLC method. The structures of all new benzotriazole derivatives were confirmed by melting point and spectroscopic methods (IR, <sup>1</sup>HNMR, <sup>13</sup>CNMR, Mass spectrometry, and elementary analysis). Furthermore, the purpose of this research is to synthesize some heterocyclic compounds that are of importance in the field of science and research.
