Impact of Social Media Sites on attitudes of Sirte University students - Faculty of Education, Sirte "field study"

Abstract

This research aims to identify the impact of social media (networks) sites on attitudes of students in the Faculty of Education and what role do social media play whether direct or indirect impact. To do so, the researcher designed a questionnaire survey and after examining the validity and reliability, 60 questionnaires were distributed to the sample members. Respondents were students from different disciplines and classes. The questionnaire included (23) questions in which the researcher sought to determine the impact of social media (networking) sites on attitudes of students in a number of aspects. The research concluded with a set of results that derived from analyzing the data contained in the questionnaire. Based on the results of this research, a set of recommendations were suggested.
