Submission Guidelines

• SUJH accepts research and studies in Humanities and Social Sciences from faculty members and specialists, in both Arabic and English.
• Submissions must demonstrate originality, sound language and style, correct scientific methodology, and adhere to established standards of rigorous scientific research.
• The manuscript must not be extracted from another scientific work (book, thesis, dissertation, paper) and must not have been previously published or presented at a conference.
• The overall similarity index (using Turnitin) must not exceed 30%.
• Authors should register an account on the journal website, complete the available forms, and upload their manuscript. Alternatively, they can email the manuscript as a Word file (2016 or later) and a PDF to sujh@su.edu.ly.
• The first page must include all author details: Full Name, Academic Degree, Specific Specialization, Full Institutional Affiliation, Email Address.
• The manuscript must include an abstract and five keywords in both Arabic and English. The English abstract must not be machine-translated. Each abstract should not exceed 200 words.
• The manuscript length should be between 5,000 and 10,000 words.
• A brief CV of the author(s) should be included with the first submission.
• Page Margins: 2.5 cm (Top, Bottom, Left, Right).
• Main Title: Centered, Traditional Arabic font, Size 16, Bold.
• Author Name(s): Below the title, centered, with institutional affiliation and email. Traditional Arabic font, Size 12.
• Main Headings: Traditional Arabic, Size 14, Bold. Subheadings: Traditional Arabic, Size 14.
• Body Text:
  • Arabic: Traditional Arabic, Size 14, Line Spacing: Single.
  • English: Times New Roman, Size 12, Line Spacing: Single.
• Tables & Figures: Numbered consecutively (above the table/figure) according to their appearance in the text. Provide clear titles. Avoid color unless necessary for the study.
• Equations: Numbered consecutively as they appear in the text.
• Photographs: Must be clear, high-quality scans, numbered, and titled above.
• Referencing Style: Use the American Psychological Association (APA) 7th Edition style.
• In-text Citations: (Author’s Last Name, Year). For direct quotes: (Author’s Last Name, Year, p. X).
• Reference List: Placed at the end of the manuscript before any appendices. List all references cited in the text alphabetically, Arabic references first, followed by non-Arabic references. Do not number entries. Follow APA guidelines for books, journal articles, theses, and online sources.
